C) prophase of mitosis

G1 phase is the part of the interphase , cell prepare for growth and replication . In prophase of mitosis nuclear envelope disintegrate, cell organelles disappear and pairing of chromosomes occurs . Homologous chromosome are assembled during prophase.

In Interphase decondensation of chromosome occur to form chromatin. So , that replication occur easily.
