Answer #1

Answer 2)

Homologous chromosomes are those chromosomes which are found to be similar in their homology. It means that there is found similar shaped similar arrangement of centromere in the chromosomes.

No, they are not found in the all cells. because they are not found in the haploid cell.

Yes, they are found in the whole stages of mitosis cell division.

yes they are found in the Meiosis 1 stages because meiosis 1 is a reductional division it means after meiosis 1 the haploid cells are produced which have only 1 chromosome from a homologous pair.

That's why the homologous chromosomes are not found in meiosis 2 stage of cell division.

---

when the hmologous chromosomes are present, then these cells are known as diploid cell.

but when only one chromosome is present from homologous chromosome, then this is the case of haploid cells. That's why haploid cells do not have homologous chromosomes.

----

sister chromatids are the identical copy of chromatid of chromosome. The sister chromatid arises by the process of duplication or replication which is found in the S phase of interphase.

Can someone please check my answer? Understanding chromosome number and behavior during cell division is an important concept in genetics. Fill out the chart below for each phase of mitosis in terms of N (where N = haploid number). For example, humans have a haploid number of 23. There are 46 chromosomes (2N) present in prophase of mitosis. Each chromosome is present in its replicated form (i.e. as sister chromatids) so there will be 2 chromatids per chromosome and the...
