Answer #1

Sociological imagination is defined as the awareness of the relationship between personal experience and the wider society. Having sociological imagination is critical for individual people and societies at large to understand. It is important that people are able to relate the situations in which they live their daily lives to the local, national, and global societal issues that affect them. The sociological imagination is the ability to see things socially and how they interact and influence each other. Thinking sociologically means thinking in a way that combines an historical, cultural, structural and critical perspective when examining the relationships between societies and individuals.
