Answer #1

An organization of workers that is formed for protecting and advocating for the interests of its members' i.e. the employees in a healthcare organization is called a union. Generally, this advocacy is in the form of collective bargaining that is aimed at improving employees' wages, hours, conditions of work and benefits. Unionized employees generally negotiate for money in many different ways too, such as:

  • plans of Pension,
  • Guaranteed hours,
