When hiring an employee who had a criminal past, should be put under supervision to understand how he works and whether he can handle the responsibilities. It totally depends on the individual, and work environment of the firm, to say employee with criminal records will be more dedicated and loyal or he may resort to the negative behaviour. So, it is mere subjective to provide yes or no answer because, every individual is different. Considering the positive side, he may transform himself to a better person and value his freedom, and also work to live good life, so he would perform effectively and stay dedicated to the firm.
