A 15 year old girl was brought to counseling because she has been acting out against her parents. She has been yelling at them, throwing objects and demonstrating general unhappiness. It becomes clear that she has been required to come straight home from school so that she can care for her four younger siblings while her parents are at work. She is not allowed to engage in after school activities or to be with her friends/peers on the weekends.
