Express your answer to three decimal places with no leading zero.

I have .00496048 as my p-value in multi-linear regression

should three decimal places with no leading 0 be .00496? When I try to input it, it doesn't want to take more than 3 numbers. So should I just put in .496?

Answer #1

As per the my knowledge of numbers system, putting .496 instead of .00496 will be misleading since the difference is of 100 times. Since, the p value is .00496048 the word no leading zero may indicate no zero at the start.

Instead to submit the answer you can .005 by rounding off .00496 to three decimal places.
