Characterize the bourgeoisie and the proletariat as Marx saw them in the mid-nineteenth century. How did he think they were related? Do you think they are related the same way today?
bourgeoisie is the owner of the production who invest money and enjoy the profit. These people are wealthy and hold high position in the society thus remaining very powerful. Proletariat on the other hand are people who belong to the working class who are separated from the product, production process and the ownership of whatever they produced thus not having any emotional attachment to the product they produced. Today, although both the classes remain in the society, the distance between the owner and the employees. Employees have the opportunity to feel one with the products and suggest changes thus really being part of the production unlike before.
