The Rwandian genocide included the mass slaughter of the TUTSI (social class or ethnic group of african great lake region), TWA (Bantu ethnic group native to African great lake region), and HUTU. Genocide, organised by the members of core Hutu political elite took place between 7 april and 15 july 1994 during rwandan civil war.

The hatred the hutu genocidairies unleashed unleashed represents the worst humans are capable of, but the violence wasnt spontaneous. It emerged from a century or more of injustice and brutality on both sides.

The genocide was triggered by the death of the Rwandan President, JuvenalHabyarimana, a hutu, ws shot down from the plane above Kigali airport. The blame went to the leader of the Tutsi rebel group, the current president, Paul Kagame, and some of his close associates.

This shows a good example as to how politics and ethnic cultures can lead to environment degradation ad ultimately to societal collapse
