is Amazon’s services in a protected space? What about Alibaba when it comes to the e-commerce platform? How do they compare?
There have been lot of doubts concerning the services of Amazon. Whether these services can sustain the requirements of both the customers and companies who use this e- commerce facility. But all these are mere speculations, Amazon services are definitely in protected space, the main reason for this is the fact that it is able to provide products at reasonable prices.
Alibaba is another China based e-commerce website, but it is more like a platform. It gives suggestions to the companies using it. For example, if a customer customises a product, this feedback will not only be used by Alibaba but also by the company using the Alibaba as a platform. But this is not the case for Amazon. Amazon just sells the products of a company and takes suggestions from the customer and acts accordingly. This platform feature of Alibaba makes its services to be in a protected space. Amazon is launching its own products, and this feature is revolutionising this area, and this particular feature makes its services to be in a protected space. Both companies will definitely stay in the competition and likely be the winners. Amazon and Alibaba are meant to be treated differently, so it is unlikely that they lock horns.
