What specific public health topic or research question do you think would be interesting and useful to study with observational methods? What type of information could observational methods give us that would help us better understand the topic? - Epidemiology Q.
1 ans -Following are factors can be considered while studying with respect to observational methods -
Public heath topics such as Adverse drug
events,Antibiotic resistance, Immunization ,Obesity and Weight
Management etc. or Research question such as
Calculating absolute risk reduction as no treatment has been
conducted? How a researcher develops design for studying the
infectious agent which are prevalence ?
How can coronavirus be controlled by performing three analysis
major components - sample, exposure fol lowed by outcome?
Following are factors can be considered while studying with respect to observational methods
Observational methods -Aim of observational
method is to carry out non experimental studies in a systematically
manner which is later compared , observed and
recorded.Observational study involved in carrying on inferences
between sample and population group in which independent variable
are not controlled by researchers due to ethical concerns.
For example. - Effect of drug is monitor on
treated group vs a control group. Randomized controlled trails
,where subject is assigned randomly to a treated group or an
control group.
Types of obsrvation methods which used to obtained information while studying epidemiology are Case-Control Studies, Case-Crossover Studies , Cohort Studies and Randomized Clinical Trials .
2 ans - Type of information which can be obtained by observational methods which can be useful in understanding epidemiology is as follows-
Huge amount of questions can be understand via Observational methods. Type of observational method can be used to analysis the disease of predefined populations by studying factors such as prevalence, incidence and risk factor assossciated with diseases.Healthcare changes can be also monitored by epidmiological studies with respect to patient care.In case study of lung care, patients without lung cancer were monitored in predefined groups while to those who developed lung cancer.Researcher do the analysis by comparing the both the factors of each patitent group who are affected or not affected by lung cancer which involves - comparison between risk factor with tthe patient who smoke with patient who never smoke and develop lung cancer.Conculsion can obtained , patient who smoked developed lung cancer while patient who never smoke didnt develop lung cancer.

Do you think it is useful to study anthropology because it could help you in your life or career or do you think it is just an interesting topic work learning about?
1. Identify and select any topic of your interest related to public health or health informatics, for approval 2. List down your study question, study goal, and study specific objectives, for approval 3. Why you have selected this topic and why it is important? what are its scopes in health 4. Give a brief introduction of your research topic along with its key terms Please type the solution on the keyboard so that I can copy and paste, and write...
In this module I want you to think about Public Health Policy. Do a quick research on a new Public Health Policy being implemented in Massachusetts. 1. Please share this new policy with the group 2. State how you feel about this policy 3. What is so interesting about this policy?
What do you think is a complete definition of “health”? What do you think is a complete definition of “wellness”? What is the difference between health and wellness? How might the four lenses apply to better help you understand wellness? What is the influence of wellness on your chosen field of study or future profession? How can you use your understanding of wellness in your professional career?
The topic for this week is evidence-based public health. Think about public health successes or current public health problems. Describe the "PERIE" process for a public health problem of your choosing (PERIE=problem, etiology, recommendations, implementation, evaluation). If your public health issue is currently happening, discuss your recommendations for how to solve the problem. Feel free to add in a link/short video to give background on the public health problem. Other discussion points to think about: (for your first post and...

While admittedly interesting, under what circumstances do you think Pareto analysis would actually be most useful? Also, just what was the first name of this Italian Economist?
For the instructor assigned article this week, what research approach (basic vs. applied) is used in the study? What is the specific type of the research method, qualitative or quantitative? Why do you think the author(s) choose this method? What is the specific research design for this study? Give a rationale for why you think the author(s) chose this design. What other type of research design could be used for a study about this topic? Why would you choose to...
what driving and restraining forces do you think the public health professional might anticipate specific to protecting the public from food hazards, and why?
1. Define epidemiology in your own words and give two examples of a research question that an epidemiologist might ask 2. Clearly explain three ways in which epidemiology is used to advance the aims of public health. 3. What is an "observational science?" How does this apply to epidemiology? Give a full explanation. 4. What is a risk factor? Give two examples of risk factors and diseases with which they are associated. Do some research using the textbook or PubMed...
