With regard to pollution in general and the disposal of toxic wastes in particular, what are the obligations of individual manufacturers and of society as a whole to future generations?

With increasing population,more number of factories,companies,manufacturing units are emerging rapidly.Due this pollution is increasing tremendously which is destroying environment very badly.Manufacturers who run chemical factories,all the people who are part of this society are responsible for causing destruction to the environment.So government has imposed certain obligations where all the manufacturers and people of the society should follow inorder to protect environment for future generations.

Following are the obligations of individual manufacturers:

• If an individual manufacturer is aware that his factory emits toxic waste which harms nature then he should take approval from government.Then government calculates the amount of toxic waste disposed and it either seizes the organization or imposes compensation accordingly.Individual manufacturer need to pay the compensation or should save nature correspondingly either by planting trees or by developing infrastructure of the society.Manufacturer can even help NGO's (Non profit organisations)by contributing some money towards poor people or can even serve food,education or provide medical facilities.
• Manufacturer should prepare a plan or procedure of disposing waste.As he is responsible for creating toxic waste, so he should even be able to dispose it off perfectly.He should take care that the toxic waste doesn't harm environmental bodies,human beings and animals.In case toxic waste is disposed excessively,then it is better to wind up the factory or else the manufacturer should try to lessen the toxic disposal waste or should use some other methods to produce goods where less toxic waste is disposed.
• Another obligation of individual manufacturer is to use natural resources and raw materials effectively.He shouldn't use them extravagantly.Every individual manufacturer should try to reprocess the used resources and raw materials.He should use raw materials in such a way that even future generations should be able to make use of them.
• It is obligation of all the individual manufacturers to protect environment so that future generation can utilize itHe shouldn't release the harmful wastes into water bodies,nature or into the environment.Individual manufacturer has no right to cause harm to wild animals,forests,etc.He should take necessary measures to start campaigns which encourages to grow trees, plants and save animals.

Following are the obligations of the society:

• It is main obligation of society that they shouldn't destroy plants or kill animals.It is considered as crime when someone tends to kill animals and they are subjected to severe punishment.Every member of the society shouldn't harm animals and they should plant more trees.
• It is responsibilty of the people of the society to reduce plastic usage.They should use ecofriendly materials or reusable things inorder to protect future generations from plastic and chemicals.
• It is the duty of every member of the society to lessen the use of vehicles which emits harmful gases and noises.They should try to use public transport so that environment is saved and future generations can utilize it.
• Maintaining the surroundings clean and tidy is one of obligations.Society members should keep their surroundings and shouldn't throw garbage on the roads.They should take an initiative to plant trees and grow them in their houses and in the society.By this future generations will able to avail the benefits of nature and environment.

Hence these are obligations of individual maniufacturers and of the society so that even future generations can witness the beauty of environment and make use of it.It is the duty of every individual manufacturer and members of society to save nature and protect it from pollution and toxic waste.
