2 . Bimolecular reaction becomes a first order reaction when one of the reactant is taken in excess. Such that it's concentration becomes constant and it doesn't effect the rate of the reaction.

3. Activation energy is the minimum quantity of energy which the reacting species must possess in order to undergo a specified reaction.

4. The pre-exponential factor (A) is part of the Arrhenius equation. The pre-exponential factor is also known as the frequency factor, and represents the frequency of collisions between reactant molecules.

5. Arrhenius plot is a straight line with a negative slop. In chemical kinetics, an Arrhenius plot displays the logarithm of a reaction rate constant, ( , ordinate axis) plotted against inverse temperature ( , abscissa). Arrhenius plots are often used to analyze the effect of temperature on the rates of chemical reactions.

6. van 't Hoff factor.The van 't Hoff factor is the ratio between the actual concentration of particles produced when the substance is dissolved and the concentration of a substance as calculated from its mass. For most non-electrolytes dissolved in water, the van 't Hoff factor is essentially 1. In case of electrolytes it's value is less than one in case of association and greater than one in case of dissociation
