Answer #1

concentration of stock M1= 5 M

concentration needed M2= 0.33 M

the volume of the stock needed V1=?

final volume V2=50 mL

M1V1=M2V2

V1=M2V2/M1

=0.33 50/ 5

= 3.3 mL

so volume of the stock required= 3.3 mL

volume of water required= 50-3.3=46.7 mL
