Ocean Productivity refers to the production of Organic Matter. Harvesting light to convert inorganic to organic. Upwelling occurs in ocean and along coastlines when the wind blows, surface water pushes away then it raises up to replace the water that was pushed away. Fishing ground which is good is found in the upwelling. Photoautotrophs and Heterotrophs are the major in Ocean Productivity. Global Warming leads to an increase in greenhouse gases it strengthens ocean acidification leading to a reduction in the nutrient supply below and decreasing ocean productivity. Evaporation from the ocean is vital to the production of freshwater. Human Activites like overfishing and pollution lead to lossess in Ocean Productivity.
