Tactile corpuscles or Meissner's corpuscles are unmylinated nerve endings which is present in skin(just beneath surface) respond to the light touch unlike lamellar corpuscles which sense pressure and present deep in dermis. Mostly present in finger and lips which are sensitive to light touch and have lower threshold value for sensing touch or vibration between 10-50 hertz.
