Answer #1

Ans: (5) Person-month and person-day. But the standard unit is Person-Month. If a unit is given in person-day, person-hour, person-week then convert it into Person-Month.

for the effort estimation COCOMO(Constructive Cost Model) is used.

There are three types of COCOMO: 1. Basic 2. Intermediate 3. Detailed

for basic model:

effort estimation E = a(KLOC) person-month

for Intermediate Model:

E = a(KLOC)*EAF person-month

Where EAF = Effort Adjustment Factor

KLOC = size of software product in Kilo Line of Code

a and b are constants whose value are given in table of COCOMO. These values are fixed for a particular model.
