Atmospheric air at 32°C and 70% relative humidity passes through a cooling section in an air-conditioning duct where the air is cooled below its dew point and some of the water is removed. The air then passes over a heating section where heat is added until the final temperature is 22°C and the relative humidity is 45%. Assume the process occurs at constant pressure of 1 atm. Using the psychrometric chart, determine:

(a) The amount of water removed in the cooling section (kg of water/kg of dry air).

(b) The heat added in the heating section (kJ/kg dry air).

(c) Illustrate the processes on a psychrometric chart.
