Galaxies of type spiral show a smooth disk/halo structure, but without spiral arms.

Astronomers categrized galaxies by shape, and although there are many different types of galaxies but these are four common types of galaxy found in our solar elliptical, spiral, spiral barred and irregular galaxy. Spiral galaxy called milky way was explained by Edwin Hubble 1936. They are two types ordinary and barred. Spiral galaxy has smooth disk and halo component without spiral arms.
