Inbreeding increases the rate of homozygosity ,which enhance the chance of expression of recessive alleles in a population.Due to inbreeding existing harmful mutations in a familys genome may come together and may get expressed.

3) A diploid organism has two copies of each chromosome one from father and other from mother .each chromosome contain one allele type of a gene. thus two alleles make up the individual's genotype. an organism can have two of the same alleles of a gene because alleles can be dominant, recessive, or codominant to each other. Eventhough only two alleles are seen in a person  ,more than two alleles can exist in the population's gene pool.
