Answer #1

Women had been treated inferior to men almost all the periods of time. So, men’s mindset was very rigid with the help of the religious influence and the political and social restrictions prevented them from losing their ego and dominant position in the society and at home. Men always believed that women should remain sexual pleasure centers and household maids. So, changing a mind-set that was built for thousands of years would take at least 72 years to accept the fact that women are equals. This is also because of the number of men from different states to accept this fact that took this long.
