The citric acid cycle Is primarily regulated by the ATP and the NADH. The main control point of the citrate cycle is ''Isocitrate dehydrogenase' and the 'alpha - ketoglutarate dehydrogenase'.the high concentration of the ADP bind allosterically with the isocitrate dehydrogenase and increase the affinity of the enzyme for substrate. When the amount of ATP is increase and ADP is decrease then ATP inhibit the isocitrate dehydrogenase.

***ATP also inhibit the synthesis of the Citrate from the Oxaloacetate and acet -A by inhibiting the enzyme citrate synthase allosterically.
