If you get the ftp> prompt you are connected.


Do I stop after org or do I have to type (username: anonymous)?

The correct way to do this on UNIX/Linux boxes as follows:

>ftp ftp://username:[email protected]

Since in your case username is anonymous and no password; use the following to connect:

>ftp ftp://[email protected]

Once done, you will be connected to this server and can move on to next steps.
