The government ( federal, state and local) made several policies for preventing and controlling of the drug abuse. The drug abuse had created huge problem among the society and many young people lives are spoiled due to it. It impact is a major factor for the public health. The government is creating awareness among the people about the problem that associated with the drug abuse. The government had taken several policy and programs for bringing awareness about the drug abuse. some of the many policies or objectives of the government such as

1. To provide education among the school about drug abuse.

2. To provide drug treatment programs and mental health program.

3. To increasing the criminal justice organisation.

4. To educating the people about drug abuse and bringing awareness among them.
