The agreement between iPhone and AT&T Inc can be seen as an exclusive agreement which facilitates AT&T Inc to sell the products of Apple Inc. especially the iPhone. A two-year wireless agreement has to be made by the customers of iPhone with AT&T Inc for making any calls or using the various features and services provided by the phone. There is one caveat wherein the customer may opt to utilize the phone as an iPod in this case, there is no requirement of activating the device with the help of AT&T Inc. This kind of agreement resulted in some special kind of complex situation for both the companies. If the customers are not willing to see the services of AT&T Inc or the services are not available in that area, then customers will not be willing to buy the phone which will have a negative impact on the buying of the iPhone.
