In deciding which product lines to emphasize when a product constraint exists, the company should focus on the product line that has the highest Contribution Margin.

Contribution Margin is the difference between the Selling price of the product and the Variable cost. When there is a production constraint , the company should focus on product lines which has least variable cost and maximum Selling price i.e ) highest Contribution Margin.
