Well, to begin with, the union doesn't get formed arbitrarily or secretively. The union is that whatever union, the union of teacher, of students or employees, is an established institution. They have a set of rules, may be written or maybe not written that they have to follow. They have set of designations or posts which get filled mostly democratically. The post(s) has/have designated representative to be accountable for. And let's say for a union to function properly, the employees have to be in resonance and if they are, even if the person with a concern is relatively new he/she shouldn't find any problem with corresponding his concern. He may get any help or advice from his peers or maybe directly approach the designated person or representative for his concern.

P.S: I feel there shouldn't be any confusion for an employee to talk and correspond with the leader of his own union.

Thanks and Thumbs_Up :)
