1. The long term relationships, specifically, with a strong bond of affinity like either the parents- children relation or the husband - wife relation reveal the attachment theory. Developmental psychology creeps in here. Firstly, pioneered by John Bowlboy.

Safe heaven, secure base, proximity maintenance and separation distress are the key features of the theory. These can be easily observed and are the highest relevant relevant aspects in this context.

Parameters like openness, trust and dependence are interlinked with empathy, responsibility and the extent of care giving. It was found in the original experiment that the anxiety is consistent if the separation of child from the care giver takes place.

Therefore, there is a strong co relation between attachment and motivation tending into focus on attachment leading to better comprehension of the motivation in human beings.

2. In the evolution phenomenon, the actual survival and the protection is confirmed by instinctive attachment behaviour.

The cultivation of of a bond of affinity with at least one care giver encourages the better emotional and social progress elevation is the essence in the context of Bowlby and Ainsworth.

This is the prime justification why Bowlby and Ainsworth grounded their theory in the branch of science called Ethology.

Empiraical research over the years has added colours to the attachment theory.
