Given : Rate of Performance = 50%

We know, Rate of Performance RP = EV / PV

Hence, EV = RP x PV = 0.5 x 8000 = 4000 SR

Planned Value PV = 8000 SR.........Given

Actual Cost AC = 20,000 SR..........Given

Cost variance = EV - AC = 4000 - 20000 = -16,000 SR

Schedule variance = EV - PV = 4000 - 8000 = -4000 SR

Cost Performance Index CPI = EV / AC = 4000 / 20000 = 0.20 = 20%

Schedule Performance Index SPI = RP = 0.5 = 50%
