Answer #1

As according to Schmidtz and Brennan the preconditions for commercial freedom includes the negative liberty for the positive ability to run own's life with the removal of obstacles and hindrances from a person's exercise of freedom and providing him the material means to ensure that they can make the choices. It results to fostering of attitude to exercise positive liberty. Thus less dependence indicates more control and responsibility on an individual. Therefore imposes a precondition that people inhabit a world thick both with responsibilities and possibilities. Moreover all possibilities will not be realized because many people will not do their best.
