By making square we segregate the allels of a gene and also the dominate and recessive one allele are segregated. They are combined on basis of independant assortment are freely to go in an organism irrespective of the presence of another as it is single gene consideration so there is not any chance of linkage if one of the two allel is doninant it give a dominat phenotype and genotype is checked by using test cross where an organism is crossed with recessive parent this way square tell about genotype and phenotype
