I need a Management Action Plan for needle stick exposures.

Please describe the desired outcome from the management action plan . What are you trying to accomplish? How will successful MAP implementation be measured and assessed? What realistic constraints do you have as you begin creation of your plan? Consider limits on time, money, and other resources that are specific to your MAP.

Decide on the sequencing of your key action steps. For each key action step, what other steps must be completed before that specific action can be taken? Rearrange your key action steps into a sequence of ordered activity. Then, look at your plan once again. Are there any ways to simplify the plan further before presenting it?

For each key action step, assign a responsible party or group within your organization (by position, department, or team name, not by individual name), and assign a suspense date by which the key action step must be completed. Then, based upon all of your key action steps and their suspense dates, provide a realistic completion date for the entire MAP.

Now, explain in detail how you will measure the success of your MAP following implementation and how you will monitor ongoing performance to prevent regression and loss of the positive change that has taken place.

Consider possible root causes of the OFI. Why do you believe the problem exists? Brainstorm and present a list of all possible actions that you may need to take in order to achieve your MAP goal. At this stage, focus on generating as many different options

When the People Think of Project planing, their minds tend to jump immediately to scheduling, but we wont even get to that part until the build up phase. Planning is really about defining fundamentals what problem need solving, who will be involved and what will be done.

below are the basic points which will help you out here.

1. Determine the real problem to Solve :

Before you begin take time to pinpoint what is the issue the project is actually supposed to fix, its not always obvious. Say the CIO at your company has asked you an IT manager, to develop a new database and data entry system. You may be eager to jump right into the project to tackle problems you have struggled with firsthand. But will that Solve the company's problem. To increase the projects Chances of success, you must look beyond the symptoms, you have observed.

2. Identify the stake holders

The main problem will be occur when you able to know who is your real stakeholders are that is which function of people will be effected by the projects activities or outcomes, who will contribute resources (People, space, time, tools, and money) and who will use and benefit from the project output. They will work with you to spell out exactly what success on the project means.

3. Define project objective

one of the most important part or challenging planning tasks is to meld stakeholder's various expectations into a coherent and manageable set of goals. The project's success will be measured by how well you meet those goals.

4. Determine Scope, resources and major tasks

Many project fails either because of they bite off more than they can chew and thus grossly underestimate time and money or because a significant part of the work has been overlooked. One tool that can help you avoid these problems is the Work breakdown structure, which aids in the process of determining scope and task and developing estimates.

5. Prepare for trade-offs

Time, cost and quality are the three related variables that typically dictate what you can achieve.

6. Quality = Time + Cost

Changes any these variables and you change your outcome. such as alterations often occur in the middle of a project. if your time frame for developing a new database management system is suddenly cut in half.

7. Build - up : how to get the project Going

In build up phase you bring your team and resize your existing team if any, do some cost estimations so that budget can be done also get commitments and make them

8. Assemble your team or make your effort to build your new team.

Bring some good quality people who knows the work and well educated so that they will get board on your planning, teach them, either you can bring some people with temp basic or permanently basic.

9. Plan your assignments.

Since you already developed your team now decide who will do what means allocate the work as per person so that work can be done withing the timeline.

10. Create the Schedule

always schedule your work and plan accordingly, work has to be a deadline so that can be completed withing the time.for instance if any work has to be completed withing a month time and after you will take another week to present them so better you prepare before 1 month time so that end problem can be avoid.

11. Hold a kickoff meetings

As soon as possible always bring people on same page and always perform meetings with them to listen their problems and some good points which will be benefit for all.

12. Develop a Budget

it will be a good plan if we can develop a budget so that will have some budget in front and issue and be handle accordingly instead of pending.

13. Implementation : how to Execute the projects

14. Monitor and control process and budget

15. Report progress

16. Hold weekly team meetings

17. Manage problems

18. Evaluate project performance

19. Close the project

20. Debrief with team.

These are the major points which needs to take care of while evaluate any plan.
