Answer #1

Answer)

We know that

Force = mass * acceleration

And velocity = acceleration*time

Time = 4 seconds (given)

1) mass = 500, force = 1,t = 4

1 = 0.5*acceleration

Acceleration = 1/0.5 = 2 (500 grams = 0.5 kg)

Speed = acceleration*time = 2*4 = 8

2) mass = 500, 0.5 , force = 2, t = 4

2 = 0.5*a

A = 2/0.5 = 4

Speed = 4*4 = 16 m/s

1) when mass = 500 and, force = 2

Speed = 16

2) when mass = 1000 and force = 2

2 = 1*a

A= 2

Speed = 2*4 = 8

{A = acceleration}

{Speed = velocity}

INTRODUCTION Many problems can develop in activated sludge operation that adversely affect effluent quality with origins in the engineering, hydraulic and microbiological components of the process. The real "heart" of the activated sludge system is the development and maintenance of a mixed microbial culture (activated sludge) that treats wastewater and which can be managed. One definition of a wastewater treatment plant operator is a "bug farmer", one who controls the aeration...
