• The tonsil and thymus
• The lymph nodes and vessels
• Bone marrow
• The spleen
• White blood cells

2. Functions of the immune system

• Identify cells :- recognize structures as being "self" or "non-self"
• defense :- defends the body from microorganisms that could harm
• homeostasis :- helps maintain homeostasis by removing old and or damaged cells from the body.
• surveillance :- recognizes and destroys malignant cells before they are able to spread

3. The immune system always inspect all the organs and tissues, whether any dead or damaged cells or any abnormal cells present, if present they take of such cells and destroy. and protect the body from harm. it always have a very close relation with circulatory system for transportation needs and the lymphatic system for production of lymphocytes.
