Answer #1

The data set represents individuals as cases whose various information like address , the suburb to which they belong to and the postal code of their area. The fourth column describes the petrol stations they prefer to go and fifth column represents the type of fuel these individuals like the most. and the last column is the price each one spends for the fuel.

This data is a primary data set as they are raw in nature and can not be interpreted when kept it as such.

Address, suburb, fuel code and Brand are nominal variables where as post code is again categorical but can be ordered so it an ordinal variable. price is a numerical and continuous variable.

Each row of the data set represent a case. The possible cases can be either companies or individuals whose addresses form the first three columns and their fuel preferences in the 4 th and 5th columns and the price they pay for the fuel they use.
