There are 4 rotations that fix vertex A.  

Now as there are 6 vertices in an Octahedron, like so for vertex A there will be 4 rotations for each of the 6 vertices, making total possible rotations are (4×6) = 24

Hence the order of the group of rotations for Octahedron is 24
