How does network development relate to the work breakdown schedule (WBS)? Discuss how the WBS is related to project network development. How can the project manager reduce problems when integrating the work package and the network? Describe how the project manager can eliminate problems during the integration.

Network development can be defined as the process of developing and or modifying the networks in an organization. In other words we can also say that network development involves creating, deploying and crafting of networks that can be used by an organization to moving or transferring of their data in between the terminals, computers or even data centers located at far away places. Where as WBS related to the art of breaking down of a task into number of activities, so that the team members can be assigned for each single activity and thus the project can be completed soon. So by using WBS one can easily complete the task of network management, in this way both are related.

Work package can be considered as the smallest unit or part of WBS, The major problem a PM can find in work package is to what as to divide as work package and how to allocate the direct costs and so for the divided and segregated work package. By taking help from the other departments in the organization could easily solve such issues or any other issue arising from integrating the work package with the network.

The PM can by using the management software, technical forums, social media and community posts over internet can eliminate the problems while the process of integration is going on and to reduce the risk of the project also this could be useful.
