1. Four guidelines that must be considered when complying with legal and ethical responsibility are :-

- understand the conflict of interest

- keep information confidential

- know the laws

- prioritise professional development

2. Sherrie's ethical and legal requirements mandatory for reporting if she notices neglect or abuse of a child who is not accessing care are :-

1.Licensed for 2 years

2. Trained in the field

3.Active practice

4.Knowledge of Laws and Regulations

Mandated reporters are required to submit reports of child abuse or suspected child abuse by an initial telephone report and a written follow-up report within 36 hours.

Remember that you are a mandated reporter, not an investigator.

Once your reporting obligation is fulfilled, you have no obligation to provide additional information to the entities or individuals charged with receiving child abuse reports.

3. Example of breach of standard - leakage of the patients confidential health information. If any breach is occurred then Sherrie should inform all individuals whose information has been breached must be notified without unreasonable delay, within 60days by First-class mail, telephone. If 500 or more number of individuals that, if affected, must be individually notified immediately and media outlets must be used as a notification mechanism.
