Answer: The nursing process in the plan of care for the patient experiencing pain as nurse should intervene the cause of the pain as well as type of pain i.e. acute or chronic. Mild pain can be managed with non pharmacological treatment.

Nurse should also assess the patient and make them understand the appropriate management of the pain. Anticipating the early pain management may help the patient to get quick relief from the pain. The nurse should check the level of pain and then also decide the dose and dosage form.
