Today most of the power or electricity is generated by thermal power plant which uses either coal, gas, petrol/diesel or oil as fuel and this fuels with combustion creates toxic emissions which is detrimental to the environment. These effects are acid rain, global warming including green house effects.

While on the other hand, renewable energy sources are environment friendly such as wind energy, solar energy, geothermal energy or ocean energy. They do not create emission causing environment.

Land erosion, salinity changes, navigation hazards, bird hazards, acoustic noise, dam breaking or sea device breakage are common issues being currently measured by the experts. These issues are not severe when compared to the major issues faced by mankind today because of non-renewable energy sources.

Experts are seeking permission to construction or commissioning of plants, legislation aspects of each factors for less problematic to public and animal life.

Renewable energy sources are currently getting popular and will take some time to take place of non-renewable energy sources like petrol, diesel, oil and gas.
