Every element has different number of total electrons and hence the number of electrons in each subshell and principal quantum number are also different.Other than this, the ionization energy and electronegativity of each element is also different and there exists interelectronic repulsions.Due to all of this, the energy of photon released when electron goes from higher level to a lower level also differs and hence each element gas a unique line spectrum.
