Answer #1

Airlines industry is always in business while sports stadium are sometimes not . Market segmentation is easy for airlines when compared to sports stadium . This is because segmentation can be done based on distance traveled and fares for airlines but when it comes to sports different people will compete for same tickets and places . Price discrimination in airlines depends on the facilities provided inside the flight, distance traveled , class traveled etc., In sports stadium the price discrimination is not high and it is done using the distance of seats from the ground and visibility etc., Maintenance costs of airlines are more when compared to sports stadium.
