Question

Determination of the Rate Law for the Iodination of Acetone in Acidic Solution

I conducted an experiment to determine initial concentrations of reactants, reaction times, and reaction orders for the iodination of acetone.... here is my data followed by some questions... help please??

Lab Report Part A - Determination of the Rate Law for the Iodination of Acetone in Acidic Solution Data and observations for

1. How do you double the concentration of one of the reactant solutions in each experiment? What reagent should you use to control the total volume of each experiment?

2. Could you reduce the concentration of a reactant by one half and achieve the same purpose as doubling their concentration? why?

3. Determine the reaction orders with respect to each reactant: Acetone, H+, I2
