= [m1g sin theta + m2g sin theta - u1m1g cos theta - u2m2g cos theta]/(m1+m2)

= [2.5*9.8*sin 43 degree + 2.5*9.8*sin 43 degree - 0.34*2.5*9.8*cos 43 degree - 0.1*2.5*9.8*cos 43 degree]/(2.5+2.5)

= 5.107 m/s^2 answer

b] applying force equation on m2:

m2g sin theta - T - u2m2g cos theta = m2a

T = m2g sin theta - u2m2g cos theta -m2a

= 2.5*9.8*sin 43 degree - 0.1*2.5*9.8*cos 43 degree - 2.5*5.107

= 2.15 N answer
