The given reaction is

CH4 + 2O2\rightarrow CO2 + 2H2O

given moles of CH4 = 2.5 moles

as per the above reaction

1 mole of CH4 gives 2 moles of H2O

and one mole of water = 1 \times 2 + 1 \times 16 = 18 g H2O

hence

1 mole of CH4 produces 2 \times18 = 36 g of  H2O

then

2.5 moles of CH4 will produce 2.5 mol \times 36 g H2O = 90 g H2O

So our answer is 90 g H2O
