Why can charting in Excel be difficult for a beginner?
Charting in Excel, though being very helpful to analyse large amounts of data and information yet can prove to be difficult for beginners.
1. Difficulty in arranging the data - For charts to be plotted, the data needs to be in proper format and someone new it may get troublesome to arrange the data in the correct manner.
2. Multiple charting options available - Excel provides a variety of chart types to choose from depending on data and need. Beginners find it difficult to choose the correct form of chart to present the data rightly.
3. Difficulty in forming pivot - Pivot table eases the task of analysts and help to create charts easily. Beginners find it tough to understand the concept of pivot and further use it in charting.
4. Changing the attributes within the charts - Excel gives the option to change the chart attributes to present it in a better and more understandable way. The variety in options can prove to be a challenge for beginners in designing the best chart required.
3. Explain the purpose of charting and reporting findings, and why this is a critical step in risk management.
Describe how receivables can be falsified, why they would be falsified, and why it is difficult to uncover such fraud??
