Solution:

An oxidising agent is the species which is reduced in a chemical reaction, while a reducing agent is the species which oxidizes in the reaction.

Therefore,

A) MnO4- + Fe2+ = ? + ?

Oxidation number of Mn = +7

Oxidation number of Fe = +2

Hence, higher oxidation number of Mn suggesting that it will reduced and hence MnO4- works as oxidising agent, while Fe2+ is oxidized into Fe3+. Therefore, Fe2+ is reducing agent.

B) MnO4- + Fe2+ (aq) = Mn2+ + Fe^3+

MnO4- = oxidising agent

Fe2+ = reducing agent

C) Cr2O7^2+  + NO2- = 2Cr2+ + NO3

Cr2O7^2+ = oxidising agent

NO2- = reducing agent

D) Cr2O7^2+ + Fe2+ = 2Cr2+ + Fe3+

Cr2O7^2+ = oxidising agent

Fe2+ = reducing agent

E) NO3- + I- = NO2 + IO3-

NO3- = oxidizing agent

I- = reducing agent
