Answer :

PERIE model means Problem, Etiology, Recommendations, Implementations, Evaluation.

Diabetes : It is one of the chronic metabolic disease, in which the body ability to produce or responds to the insulin hormone is impaired, so that increased blood glucose levels in the body.

P - problems : polyurea, poly phasia, poly dypsia, Increased blood glucose levels, poor wound healing, diabetec neuropathy, diabetec nephropathy, and Retenopathy.

E- Etiology : due to decreased insulin production, and decreased insulin receptors working, obesity, lack of physical activity, excessive intake of carbohydrate diet and fat diet, some of metabolic changes ect.

R - Recommendations :

* To give adequate oral fluids.

* To provide low carbohydrate diet.

* To advice to do daily physical activities.

* daily monitoring of weight.

* daily monitoring of blood glucose levels.

* To provide high fiber diet.

* To reduce intake of fatty diet.

* To provide de stressing techniques.

* Advised to maintain good aseptic techniques to clean the wound ect.

I - Implementation :

* Administer adequate oral fluids.

* Provide less carbohydrate diet and high fiber diet like grains,

* Assist the clients to do daily exercises like walking, jogging, yoga and meditation etc.

* monitor the blood glucose levels and weight daily, to control blood sugars,and body weight or obesity.

* provide de stressing techniques like listening music, doing interested activities ect.

* Provide good and cleanly environments to the clients.

E - Evaluation : At last we need to evaluate our results whether the client has reduced his or her blood glucose levels, and symptoms like polyurea, poly phasia, and poly dipsia, and over weight to normal weight.

This is the PERIE model for diabetes.
