Healthy eating habits include.
A balance diet- protien - 10-15% of energy, fats - 15-30% of energy and carbohydrates 50%-70% of energy
Eat fresh foods
Eat meals at right time
Avoid processed food and consume more natural food
Eat more fruits & vegetables
Whole grains & nuts
All these are healthy eating habits, these habits will surely improve our nutrition by providing right amount of energy, vitamins and minerals.
There are some amino acids which our body can't synthesie so they must be taken from dietary protien such amino acids are - leucine, isoleucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, valine, tryptophan & histidine.
Thus we should consume all these amino acids which is present in different different type of foods, we should not consume only one type of grain and should go for multiple grains because every important grain lack 1 type of amino acids such as wheat are deficit of threonine and lysine, so multi grain will provide different type of essential amino acids & fibers
One food which consists of all type of amino acids is - Egg, so including egg in your diet will provide you all type of protien & fats except carbohydrates and vita C
Grain should be consumed as whole grains because whole grains contains much fibers in it as compare to the polished one, these fibers are very important to out large intestine keeping it healthy, no problem of constipation and it will provide much absorption of food.
Fruits are very much important to improve nutrition because they contains many vitamins and minerals, we should avoid packed fruit juice and should go for natural whole fruits because of the fibers present in it are very helpful to clean out gastroentestinal tract, these fruits will keep us hydrated for a long time and will help to maintain right weight of our body.
Eating on time is very much important to improve nutrition because it provides maximum absorption of food and thus maximum number of nutrition we will get it.
Eating at very late in night, without any schedule will not absorbed as much as it is possible at right time.
Ofcourse healthy eating habits should be inclusive of lifestyle changes, it will provide better health and better life and most importantly a better mindset which is very important in nowadays life so we should improve out eating habits and it will help us to maintain a better and healthy life
