Radius, r = 0.256/2 = 0.128 m

Moment of inertia, I = mr^2 + 0.5 mr^2 = 1.5 mr^2

Using work energy theorem,

Work done = change in kinetic energy

mgr = 0.5 I w^2

m x 9.8 x 0.128 = 0.5 x 1.5 x m x 0.128^2 x w^2

Angular velocity, w = 10.10 rad/sec
